Aileen Marie Gilroy, 50, a resident of Cranford, passed from this life on March 5th, 2019, in a local hospital.
She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, sister and friend. Aileen loved watching her children compete in gymnastics, bowling, swimming and tennis. She always wanted the very best for her children in all that they have and continue to accomplish. Aileen loved helping others, especially, the children at Scotch Plains-Fanwood Regional School District. Aileen was an incredible planner, always organized, a very hard worker. Let us not forget her energetic personality.
She was predeceased by her mother, Bernadette Gilroy.
Aileen leaves to cherish her memory for her children, Blathnaid (Bee), Fiona, and Danny Iosso; former husband, Dave Iosso; father, Daniel Gilroy; mother-in-law, Millie Iosso; fiancé, Dennis Broughton; cousin, Mary Burke; brother, Brendon Gilroy and wife, Keri; and nieces Haile and Ciara Gilroy.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the families and friends in the Cranford community for all their loving support during her difficult time. In addition, the family would also like to thank the staff at Morristown Medical for their care during her illness.
A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, March 10th from 4-8PM at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 11th at St. Michael Catholic Church in Cranford.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to Cranford Family Care, at 61 Myrtle Street, Cranford, NJ 07016.
