Albert H. Stapperfenne

Albert H. Stapperfenne age 90 died on Sunday April 26, 2009 at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital at Rahway, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he grew up and lived in Kenilworth before moving to Roselle in 1951.

Albert was a Machinist for Harvin Machine Company in Kenilworth for many years before his retirement in 1983. Before that he worked for years for H.K. Porter and Company in Roselle, NJ.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Carpenter Roman Catholic Church, Roselle. Member of the V.F.W. Post in Kenilworth, and the American Legion in Jim Thorpe, PA.

Pre deceased by his wife, Mary E. Stapperfenne (1992), he is survived by a son, Albert G. Stapperfenne, and a daughter Mary Ann Farrell. A grandson, Bryan Farrell. Also survived by his brothers, Robert and Ernest Stapperfenne.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 7-9 PM at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford. Funeral services 11 AM Wednesday April 29, 2009 at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
