Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 11 am in Bistineau Cemetery in Heflin, Louisiana for Alice F. Rugg.
Mrs. Rugg age 92 passed away on August 20, 2007 in Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in Heflin, Louisiana and was a long time resident of Westfield.
She was a graduate of Louisiana State University where she obtained a degree in Home Economics in 1935.
She was very active in The League of Women Voters and also the Presbyterian Church in Westfield.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Frank and her sister Mary Helen Beatty.
She is survived by her children, F. Mack Rugg, Mary lou Branson and Maggie Herold. She will also be deeply missed by her four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
