Ann M. Sweeney

A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at St. John the Apostle RC Church in Clark at 10:30 am for Ann Sweeney of Winfield Park. Interment will follow at St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit with the family at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home; 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Ann, 69, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at her home in Winfield Park. She was born in Jersey City and has resided in Winfield Park her entire life. She was associated with Super Markets General in Carteret for 15 years.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Jane Longo and Joseph McManus and also her grandson, Sean.
Ann is survived by her loving husband Wayne of 45 years and her devoted children; Charles Sweeney & his wife Patty, Rose Currie & her husband Bob, Joseph Sweeney & his wife Karen, Maureen Byrne & her husband Bill and Colleen Tombs & her husband Chuck. Ann is also survived by 12 adored grandchildren. She will also be deeply missed by her sisters; Margaret and Kathleen McManus and her brothers; Michael & his wife Sandy and Charles McManus and Bonnie
