Arnold Rutherford

Arnold Lyle Rutherford, 73, passed away at home in Rahway, NJ on Monday, September 12, 2011. Arnold's funeral services will be conducted at Gray's funeral home in Cranford, NJ. Friends and family are invited to visit from 2pm-4pm and 7p-9p on Thursday September 15, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday 1pm September 16, 2011. Arnold was born in Stockdale, PA on September 19, 1937 and moved to Roselle, NJ in 1960. He was employed by Accurate Bushing/Textron for 29 years and was further self employed. He was loved and respected by many people for his wit, charm, thoughtfulness, intelligence, and strength. He was predeceased by his sister Nadine Sentinek. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Mary (Buontempo) of Cranford, NJ; his son Scott Rutherford and daughter-in-law Laurie (Vernieri) Rutherford and grandson Andrew; his daughter Holly (Rutherford) Drehwing & son- in- law Kyle Drehwing and grandson Alexander; his brother Clinton Rutherford & wife Freda, Brother-in law Paul Sentinek. Sister-in-laws Jean Stivale, Eleanor Myers, brother-in-law Angelo Buontempo and wife Joan; Brother- in-law Vincent Buontempo and wife Kathleen; Sister-in-law Ruth Radakovich and husband Daniel. He was blessed with over 50 nieces and nephews.
