With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Arthur Daquino on September 2, 2024, at the age of 73. Arthur was born on March 23, 1951, in Newark, New Jersey. He spent his formative years in Springfield before settling in Cranford with his beloved wife.

Arthur is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Barbara (Tuttle) Daquino; his daughter, Melissa (Daquino) Alancourt, and her husband, Stephen; his son, John Daquino; his sisters, Barbara (Daquino) Hartmann and her husband Alan, and Pamela (Daquino) Hanna and her late husband James. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Irene (Appleyard) Daquino and John Daquino.

Arthur will be remembered with great affection for his love of music, cars, and sports. He was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and NASCAR. His career began in his father’s catering business, and he later earned his Commercial Driver’s License, working in the trucking industry before retiring from FedEx in 2018. His absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Arthur’s life will take place on Saturday, September 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford, New Jersey.
