Beatrice (Betty) Dorothy Regg age 90 died on November 22, 2007 at the residence of her daughter Dinah Layne in Pekin, Illinois.

Born June 21, 1917 in Millburn, NJ to William and Eva (Ayers) Alley, she married Harry Arthur Regg on June 27, 1935 in Westfield, NJ. Harry passed away in October of 1978 in Virginia.

Her parents, one son, Harry Arthur Jr., one grandson Darrell Lee Massey Jr., and one sister, Lorraine Alley also pre deceased her in death.

Surviving are five daughters, Lois Wawrzeniak of Manchester, NJ, Doris (Erling) Tofteland of Luverne, Minnesota, Beatrice (Art) Beecher of Arcadis Florida, Dinah (Jim) Layne of Pekin, IL, and Linda Prendimano of Spring Hill, Florida. Two sons Richard (Kathy) Regg of Toms River, NJ, son Donald Regg of Whiting, NJ. Twenty Two grandchildren, Fourty Eight great-gandchildren, and Nine great-great-grandchildren, Ten step grandchildren, and Eight step-great-grandhchildren; two brothers, Rev. Floyd C. Alley of Florida, and Raymond Alley of New Jersey.

She formerly attended First Presbyterian Church in Springfield, NJ.

Betty was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her children, and later, her grandchildren. In retirement, Betty was employed with Ocean County Services.

Her services will be 11 AM Wednesday November 28, 2007 at the Gray Funeral Home, Westfield, NJ after the visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
