Benjamin Green Snyder, age 29, died suddenly early Saturday morning. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 9, 1980, he was raised in Cranford, New Jersey since 1989. He graduated from Cranford High School in 1998. He worked at Westfield Lumber and JAD Equipment. He also had a small drywall business with long-time friend Scott Van De Water. To everyone who knew Ben, he was a talented carpenter, craftsman, mechanic and a generous friend. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cranford. He is survived by his loving parents, Mike Snyder and Susan Green. He is also survived by a brother, Brian. There will be no visitation. A celebration of life services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 2, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cranford. A repast will follow the services in the church Fellowship Hall. Private arrangements by the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, Cranford. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ben may be sent to the Cranford First Aid Squad, Cranford, NJ.
