Beryl S. Tittle

Beryl Smyth Tittle, 102, Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Beryl S. Tittle, 102, of Bridgewater, NJ, a former long-term Westfield resident, passed away peacefully at Arbor Glen Retirement Home on December 26th. She was predeceased by her husband of 77 years, John L. Tittle. She was a homemaker and active member of the Westfield Methodist Church for over 50 years. She loved playing the piano, gardening, vacationing at Cape May, and was skilled in various handicrafts. She was a good cook, and was especially known for her homemade bread and pies. She is survived by her four children: John L. Tittle, Jr. and his wife Marion Jones Tittle of Sunset Beach North Carolina, Sally Ann Philbrick and her husband James Philbrick of Milford, New Hampshire, Lois Tittle Griggs, and her husband Richard Griggs, and her son, William L. Tittle and his wife, Sharon Way Tittle, all living in Westfield. In addition, she has eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Gray's Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street in Westfield on Thursday December 30th, led by the Reverend Norma Hockenjos. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Westfield.
