Beverly Fink, 86, passed away on Monday, November 14th, at her home in Westfield. While she was originally from Providence, Rhode Island, later living in Miami Beach, Florida and had been a resident of Westfield since 1958, she always considered herself a proud New Englander. She was born in RI in 1924, loving daughter of Barney and Essie (Wasserman) Flink. She attended The University of Miami. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to entertain, attend theater, and travel and was a life member of Hadassah. Surviving are her loving son, Howard and daughter-in-law Joanna of Manalapan, daughter Carroll Jacoby (Steven) of Pleasanton California, and adored grandchildren Julia Jacoby Sallick (Philip) of Sydney Australia, David Jacoby of Pleasanton. CA, Robert Fink of Sayreville and Daniel Fink of Manalapan. She was pre-deceased by her husband Elliot Fink in 1991. A memorial/remembrance will be held on Sunday November, 20th, at 1pm at Beverly�s home in Westfield. Private arrangements by Gray Funeral Home, Westfield. The family is setting up a scholarship fund in her memory at The Academy for Urban Leadership Charter High School in Perth Amboy where her grandson, Robert, serves on The Board of Trustees.
