A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 3 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 1 East Broad St. Westfield for Beverly 'Bev' C. Pogue. Mrs. Pogue was born in Orange, N.J. and lived lived in Westfield and North Carolina before returning to Westfield two years ago. Beverly left this world on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008.
Ms. Pogue graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in Management and also an MBA.
Ms. Pogue worked at General Public Utilities (GPU) in Morristown for more than 20 years and also Johnson & Johnson in Piscataway. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Ms. Pogue was predeceased by her father, Bogen Hossic and her sister, Cheryl Ann Hossic.
Surviving are her daughter, Courtney Nicole Pogue of San Diego, CA; her son, Matthew Gregory Pogue of Westfield; her mother, Naomi Curtis Hossic of North Carolina; her sister, Lynn Chavis of North Carolina; two step-daughters and a step-son-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and a sister and brother-in-law.
Arrangements are by the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
