Bohdan Pacholok, 80, was a resident of Cranford, NJ. Born on June 14th, 1929 in Bayonne, NJ. Bohdan went home to his lord Monday, March 8th, 2010. He attended Bayonne High School followed by Brooklyn Polytech Institute. He served in the US Army attaining the rank of sergeant during the Korean War time period. After being Honorably Discharged from the Army, he went on to pursue his interest in the electrical engineering field with several different companies culminating with a 25 year career at Merck Pharmaceutical Company as a Systems and Control Engineer. One of his proudest achievements was working on a Space Station Simulator called the Coriolis Project, which helped NASA Astronauts train for future missions in Space. One of Bohdan's greatest passions was historic aviation, WWII in particular. Another passion was studying and sharing the Bible. Bohdan is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Romanchuk Pacholok; son Stephen Pacholok, daughter Jane Pacholok Battle, 6 grandchildren: Kate & Kirby Battle; Kendra, David, Michael and Hannah Pacholok. Services will be held Friday, March 12th at 11am at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, Cranford.
