Brigitta Ines Schriever

Brigitta Ines "Brigit" Schriever , 80, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 29th at her home in Powell, Ohio.  Brigit was born on January, 3 1943 in Berlin Germany.  She moved around a lot through her young years living in Argentina and Italy before moving to the USA. She graduated Beverley Hills, CA High School and worked for MGM records for many years before getting married to the late Garrett Schriever in 1965. She and Garrett settled in Cranford, NJ in 1976 where Brigit lived happily until 2012. Moving to Powell Ohio in 2012 to be closer to her daughter, Brigit found comfort and happiness in her neighbors. She loved her home and she loved her cat Milo more than anything.   She was know for brightening people days by bringing them chocolate and flowers, she did this often for no reason other than enjoying the feeling of giving.  She will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughter Tara, her husband Joe and her grandchildren Garrett, Nicholas and Grace. Her entombment took place on Tuesday Novemeber 7, 2023 in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, NJ.
