Carl A. Kluge, Jr., passed away on June 23, 2012 of a brief illness. Born - July 27, 1932 in Newark, NJ to Carl A. And Mary (Huska) Kluge. Funeral services 11 am Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, and burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield Graduated from Roselle Park High School in 1950 Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, including 19 months of active duty in Okinawa with the Military Police Was married to Jane Devinney Kluge from October 20, 1956 until her death in 1987. He was also pre deceased by his sister, Selma Kluge Ward. Attended the American Institute of Banking in New York City In 1989, retired from Goldome Bank (formerly Union Dime Savings Bank) in New York City in the Commercial Mortgage division, after 39 years Member of First Presbyterian Church, Cranford, and a member of Germania Masonic Lodge #128, Irvington Almost every year since 1963, Carl and his family spent wonderful vacations on Cape Cod. Survived by his daughters, Betsy Kluge, Cindy Devlin. Grandson, Matthew Carl Devlin. His wife, Doris Kluge. Niece, Lynn Brockway. Great Nieces, Stacy Brockway and Kristy Brockway.
