Carmen Valle Garcia

Carmen Valle Garcia, 95, formerly of Elizabeth, died Sunday August 8, 2010, in Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Friday August 13, 2010, at Gray Memorial Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford, where funeral services will begin at 10AM, Saturday August 14, 2010. Interment will follow in HazelWood Cemetery, Rahway. She is survived by her loving son: Robert L. Garcia and his wife Marilyn S. of Washington, NJ, and the family pet "Missy". She was preceded in death by her brothers: William and Joseph Valle. Born in Minas de Rio Tinto, Spain, she came to the US at the age of 5. She was a longtime hairdresser in Elizabeth, having worked for the former Levy Bros. Department Store Hair Salon, and the John Perrone Salon. She retired in 1987, and moved to Warren County in 1990.
