Charles Lippincott Eberling Age: 69 – Manchester and Vero Beach Charles Lippincott Eberling bravely fought his two year battle with lung cancer and passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 1st.. . He was born in Jersey City , NJ. He raised his family in Cranford NJ living there for over 30 years. Charles follows into the afterlife his parents Betty and Charles Eberling , a brother, Dean Eberling and a sister Karen Aurand. He leaves behind his loving wife Linda Vieau Eberling of 41 years, daughters Wendy Tkaczyszyn and her husband Yury and Susan Wright and her husband Alex and his four grandchildren Connor, Katie, Kyle, and Dylan. He was also "Uncle Brob" to many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Charles is a 1960 graduate of Admiral Farragut Academy in Pine Beach, NJ. Charles served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam era. He attended the Philadelphia school of textiles. Charles worked for YKK USA before he retired. Charles was an avid boats man and spent 60 years sailing on Barnaget Bay. He was able to retire and spend time with his family and grandkids splitting his time between New Jersey and Vero Beach , Florida. He will forever be know as "my fishing and crabbing buddy" to all his grandkids. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family Visitation will be on Sunday, August 5 from 5:00 – 8:00 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford . Service will be on Monday, August 6th at Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranford, NJ at 10:00 followed by the burial at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests considering a donation in Charles's name to Hospice of Toms River or Trinity Episcopal Church in Cranford, NJ.
