Charlotte Marie Ruszkowski (Sarnosky), 88, of Cranford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 26 at Dr Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Florida after spending a wonderful week with her loving family in Walt Disney World. Charlotte was born in Bayonne in 1929 to loving parents and had one younger sister, Helen Nielsen. Charlotte moved to Cranford in 1943 and has been a resident there ever since. She graduated from Cranford High School with the class of 1947.In 1949, she married Henry Ruszkowski and was employed as Vice President of Carlin's in Elizabeth from 1960 to 1991.
Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her friends and family,especially her grandchildren who will always treasure the time she shared with them.
She was loved by so many including her deceased husband, Henry, daughter Lori and her husband Wally of Westfield, son, Michael of Cranford, deceased son Robert and daughterinlaw, Eileen and nine cherished grandchildren, Susan, Michael, Lisa, Jenna, Kayla, Zackary, Carly Rae, Kobi, deceased granddaughter Blake Madison and three great grandsons, Sean, Robbie and Jacob.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation and Life Celebration on Thursday, August 30 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 31 at Saint John the Apostle Church in Clark with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.
