Constance L. Hansen, 96, passed away June 27, 2017.

Funeral arrangements are with Gray Memorial Funeral Home, Cranford, N.J., where visitation and life celebration will be on Friday, June 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Cranford, on Saturday, July 1, at 8:45 a.m.

Constance was a resident of Cranford for over 33 years. She was born in Fulton, N.Y., and grew up in White Plains, N.Y., where she met and married her husband, Carlton. They were married for 35 years, had two sons, and lived in Plainfield, N.J. until his death in 1976.

Constance worked at Western Electric in Kearny, N.J., as an inspector, and later for AT&T in Clark, N.J., and Pitney-Bowes in South Plainfield, N.J. She was active in the Red Hats.

She is survived by her son, Craig Hansen, of Idaho; her son, Carlton W. Hansen, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Winnie Wong, of Chatham, N.J.; a grandson, Joshua Hansen, of Colorado, many dear friends, and "Dax".
