Donald B. Emery went home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2020 surrounded by his family at the age of 70. Born in Newark on October 12,1950, to the late Everett and Esther (Matweyiw) Emery. He resided in Westfield for most of his life. He was a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard for 28 years.
He was predeceased by his daughter Tracy Lynn and his brother Carl. Donald is survived by his brother Rodney of Massachusetts and his loving family. He is also survived by his former wife, Catherine and their children Curtis, Michael and wife Delia, and Lisa Aponte and her husband Michael. Also surviving him are three loving grandchildren Zachary, Rachel, and Quinn Morgan who will sadly miss him as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.
A celebration of Donald's life will be held at a later date. At the family's request, the burial will be private.
