Donald Edwin Lowrey

D. Edwin Lowrey age 90 went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2011. Ed was born and raised in Pennsylvania. After serving in the Navy SeaBees in World War 2, he moved to New Jersey. Ed resided in Rahway for 56 years. Ed worked for Corrigated Box Company in Linden for 32 years before his retirement. He was a life member and Elder of the Cranford Alliance Church in Cranford. Ed is pre deceased by his wife, Mary Eileen and a daughter Nancy Dupere. Surviving are his loving children, Joyce Nunn, Robert Lowrey, John Lowrey, Barbara Rimondi, and David Lowrey. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. A Memorial service to celebrate Ed's life will be held on Sunday 3 pm March 6 2011 at the Cranford Alliance Church at the corner of Retford and Cherry Street in Cranford, NJ. Private arrangements were under the direction of Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Goodwill Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 7026, Newark, NJ 07107
