Doris Winkler (nee Dohm) of Mountainside died on Thursday October 19, 2006
in Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in Oceanside New York and lived in Valley Stream, Long Island for many years before moving to Mountainside 25 years ago. She was employed by Exxon Mobil in New York City for many years as an executive secretary. She retired in 1986.
She was a graduate of Berkely College.
Her husband Lewis passed away on December 16, 2005.
She is survived by her beloved Collie Christy. Her daughters, Barbara Gorman, Carol Meier and Patricia Schor. Her brother, Harry Dohm, She was also grammy to her eight grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her one nephew and one grand nephew.
Visiting will be on Saturday from 2-4, 5-7 PM in the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Mountainside Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
