Edna Mcgraham Szeliga

Edna McGraham Szeliga, 98, of Fanwood, died Sunday September 16, 2018, at the Autumn Lake Health Care Center, Berkeley Heights.
Born in the Bronx, NY to William and Catherine Fitzgerald McGraham, Edna moved to Westfield in 1956, then later to Fanwood in 2006. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she had been active with the Rosary Society. Edna was a volunteer at Runnells Hospital, and had worked as a clerk at the former Leader Store in Westfield. A voracious reader, she loved knitting, and doing the NY Times Crossword Puzzle.

Vistiation will be Wednesday September 19th, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E. Broad St., Westfield. Edna's funeral mass will be at 10AM Thursday September 20, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Westfield. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Szeliga, and is survived by 7 children: Roseanne Eakin (Thomas), Catherine Ambos(Paul), Christopher Szeliga (Marcella), Timothy Szeliga (Maggie), Barbara McNamara, Justin Szeliga, Paul Szeliga, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
