Egon F. Gessner

Egon F. Gessner age 85 died on Sunday at his residence in Cranford, NJ. Born in Leipzig Germany, he lived in Cranford since 1952. Graduated from Newark College of Engineering in 1941 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for many years at Heyco in Kenilworth, NJ retiring in 1987. He was a World War Two Navy veteran. Member of The Deucher Club of Clark, NJ, and a member of The Cranford Senior Citizens Club, Thursday Group. He is pre deceased by his wife, Ruth H. Gessner who died in 2001. He is survived by a son, Kurt E. Gessner of Cranford, NJ , and a daughter, Ingrid K. Cusumano of Lehighton, PA. Also survived by three grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10 :30 AM WITH A FUNERAL SERVICE 10:30 AM at The Gray Memorial funeral Home in Cranford. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield with full Military Honors.
