Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 11 am in the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad St. Westfield, NJ for Egon Gorsky. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Mr. Gorsky, 81 passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009 at his home in Westfield. He was born in Czechoslavakia and came to the United States in 1952 and settled in New York. In 1969 he moved to Westfield.
For the last 37 years Mr. Gorsky was the owner of E. Gorsky Inc., a Tool and Dye Company in Fanwood.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Gorsky. He is also survived by his children; Madeleine Poe, William Gorsky, Stanley Gorsky and Yvonne Eisen. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Tibor Gorsky, his four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Atlantic Hospice.
