Eileen Sheila Hollingsworth, 62, of Boynton Beach, FL, died on November 27, 2015 at her residence after a lengthy
illness. Born in Newark, NJ, she was a graduate of Cranford High School Class of 1971. She was also a graduate of Kean University.
An avid roller skater, Eileen conducted roller
skating clinics for the Cranford Department of Recreation. She later planned roller skating events in Manhattan, where
she had been an executive secretary. Eileen enjoyed world wide travel with her companion Larry Gell. They visited Southeast Asia, and Europe, where her favorite place was London, England. Eileen was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Cranford.
Eileen was the beloved daughter of the late Edward B. Hollingsworth. She is survived by her loving mother: Gerda
Opfer Hollingsworth, and dear sister of Gerda Felner (Eli) of Kenilworth, NJ, Edward W. Hollingsworth (Allison) of
Randolph, NJ, Catherine Phelps (Gordon) of Cranford, NJ, Mary Lee Souza (Anthony) of Atlanta, GA, four nephews, and
two nieces.
Eileen's Life Celebration will be 2:00-5:00 PM, Sunday December 6th, at Gray Funeral Directors, 12 Springfield Avenue,
Cranford, where her funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM Monday December 7, 2015. Interment will follow at Fairview
Cemetery, Westfield, NJ.
