Eleanor "Ellie" Pfeifer Eleanor Pfeifer, born July 6, 1926 went to be with the Lord on Oct 25, 2012. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 26th from 7-9 pm at Gray's Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield, NJ. Service and interment will be private. www.grayfuneralhomes.com A native of Mountainside, Eleanor was born at home on Cedar Avenue and lived there prior to moving to Brighton Gardens. Eleanor was employed at Children's Specialized Hospital for 45 years. She was a member of Mountainside Gospel Chapel since 1952, the Mountainside Historical Committee since 1986, the Foothills Club of Mountainside, and an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry C. Sr. and Amelia Pfeifer; sister, Jeannette; brother, Henry C. Jr. (Pearl). She is survived by her brother, Robert (Muriel); and sister, Muriel Wilson, 9 nieces and nephews and their families.
