Cranford, NJ Elizabeth L. Smith Mrs. Elizabeth L. Smith, 93, went to be with the Lord Monday, February 7th, 2011 at Saukin Valley Manor Nursing Home, in Hellertown Pennsylvania. Mrs. Smith was born in Detroit, Michigan , she lived in Cranford and Matawan. She was a mother and homemaker She worked as a Secretary at National Gypsum Garwood, NJ., for 9 years retired 1980. She was the widow of Robert Smith who died in 2002 Surviving is a son James M. Smith, and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Smith.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 7-9 pm at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford. Religious Service 11 am Thursday at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Elizabeth was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, and lived her life following His word. Today she is in the immediate presence of the Lord.
