Emily Soos Robison

EMILY SOOS ROBISON Emily Soos Robison passed away on Friday, June 3, 2001, at the age of 86. Born in Elizabeth, N.J. on April 4, 1925, she attended Linden High School, graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in biology, and later earned a Masters in Library Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She worked as a technical librarian at the Esso Research Center in Linden and later as a librarian at Jefferson Elementary School in Westfield. Emily's love for books carried over into her various club activities and volunteer work in the Westfield area. Emily married Samuel Robison, who predeceased her, and is survived by a daughter, Betsy Rose; two sons, Hugh and John; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 10AM Saturday June 11, 2011 at Gray Funeral Home, 318 E.Broad Street, Westfeld, where the Memorial Service will follow at 11 am. Casual attire is requested.
