Estelle M. Gruler

Estelle M. Gruler age 101 died on Friday March 11, 2011 Peggy's House, Center For Hope Hospice inScotch Plains, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ on February 11, 1910, she lived in Crestwood Village in Whiting before moving to Cranford in 2003. Estelle was a waitress for Tommy's Restaurant in Toms River for many years before her retirement.. She is pre deceased by her husband Henry C. Gruler who passed away in 2003. Surviving is a daughter Judy A. Schrope. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was a parishoner of St. Michael's R.C. Church, and a me mber of the Cranford Senior Citizens Gill Apartment Association.. Visitation will be on Monday March 21 from 2-4, 7-9 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 am Tuesday March 22, 2011 at St. Michael's R.C. Church with burial to follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Union, NJ. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Center For Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
