Estelle Sofko

Estelle Lorraine Sofko, 92 of Woodbridge, N.J. passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at St. Joseph's Senior Home in Woodbridge, N.J. Born in Luciusboro, Pennsylvania she lived in New Jersey, Illinois and Pennsylvania. Estelle was employed at Sears in Irvington, N.J. while raising her three daughters with her husband, John. She loved to draw, play bingo, eat sweets, play cards, do puzzles, watch soap operas and visit with family and friends. She also loved to attend daily mass at St. Joseph's. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.

Estelle was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Sofko and her dear grandson, Nicholas Litterio. She was also predeceased by her siblings: Mary Dewey, Virginia Borowski, Stanley Rock, Bertha Skiptunis, Jean Stutz, Alice Fenton, Edward Rock and Sophie Kurpell and her sons-in-law Donald Chamberlin and Bruce Barton.

Estelle is survived by her daughters Eileen Barton (Bruce), Mary Lynn Chamberlin (Donald) and Sharon Kasperan (John), her grandchildren Kelly Barton, Carley Hartzell (John) and John Kasperan and her great granddaughter Isla Hartzell. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren Danielle and Cameran.

Estelle will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
