Growing tired of city life, the Laskaris' relocated to Howell Township, NJ where Evon was thrilled to finally learn how to drive. She loved to dance, she loved math but most of all she loved her family. Although a grandmother to just two, she was everyone's Yia Yia.
Evon was predeceased by her husband Taxiarchis "Ted" Laskaris in 2005 and her son Van Laskaris in 2004. She is survived by her son Peter and his wife Elizabeth, their daughters Kaitlin and Noelle, her sister Athina Oikonomou, her brothers Elias Karveli and Lykourgis Karveli as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
