Faye A. Cerillo died peacefully March 15, 2022 in the Crestwood Manor Life Care Center, Whiting, N.J. Faye was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a young woman she worked for the local phone company while attending Nebraska State Teacher's College. During World War II Faye met her late husband Thomas Cerillo and celebrated 69 years of marriage before his passing in 2014. Faye worked in the office of David Brearley High School for several years during the school's initial opening. In her retirement years volunteer work was working as a book keeper for a Children's Radio Ministry in Toms River, as well as volunteer work at America's Keswick along with her husband. Faye was also active in her local church assembly, teaching Sunday School, women's teaching ministry, and playing piano and organ for music ministry.
She is survived by her son Gregory and daughter-in-law Diane Cerillo, three grandchildren, Curtis Cerillo, Cynthia Nipps and her husband Mark, Sandra Parker and her husband Scott and two great grandchildren, Kayla and Joshua Parker.
Friends are welcome to her life celebration at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford, N.J. Tuesday March 22nd from 4 to 8 pm. Wednesday a funeral service will at 10 am at the funeral home and burial to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.
