Frances L (Doyle) Antonak, Age 102, of Rochester Hills, Mi, died October 10, 2011. Born September 11, 1909, in Westfield, N.J. Wife of the late George H. Antonak, of Scotch Plains, N.J. She was the last survivor among the seven children of the late Cora and Thomas Doyle. Following school in Westfield, she spent fifteen years employed by the Prudential Insurance Company in Newark, N.J. She married U.S. Army Sergeant George Antonak on September 9, 1944. They resided for the next 58 years in Scotch Plains, N.J. For twenty five of those years Frances was an auxiliary officer on the Scotch Plains police force, and was among the first school crossing guards in the township. After her husband's death in 2002, she moved to the American House Village assisted living facility in Rochester Hills, Mi. She leaves behind two sons, three grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Son George Antonak, Jr. and his wife Judy live in Bloomfield Hills, Mi. Son Richard Antonak and his wife Chris reside in Brunswick, Me. Granddaughter Laura Lockhart and her husband Sid reside with their two children, Jordan and Tyler, in Bloomfield Hills, Mi. Grandson Brian Antonak and his fiancée Erin Benson reside in St. Petersburg, FL. Granddaughter Becky Welch and her husband Paul reside with their son Connor in San Antonio, TX. She also leaves behind her dear niece Louise Birath of Greenbrook, N.J., and dear sister-in-law Dolores Doyle of Carlisle, Pa, and many, many other nephews and nieces. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Gray Funeral Home, 318 East Broad St., Westfield, with Visitation on Friday, October 14th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will also be held at the Gray Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15th. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the employee fund for the kind and loving support staff at: Patient Support Services, Staff Fund for Stone and Manor Five, 28120 Dequindre, Warren, Mi, 48092.
