Frank A. Fiorelli, 70, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 23, 2021 in Springfield, New Jersey. He was born March 8, 1951 to Alfonso and Mary Fiorelli and on May 31, 1980, married Nancy Gigon, whom he met at Rickel in Union. Surviving are his beloved wife Nancy, two cherished daughters Jennifer (Erik) Larsen and Jessica (Jake) Schor, four grandsons Chase, Quinn, Ethan & Caleb, Mother-in-Law Arlene Gigon, many friends and family members, and his loyal companion and dog, Bear.
Frank was a doting husband, father, grandfather and son-in-law. He was dearly loved and appreciated by his devoted family and friends. He dedicated his life to helping others; it gave him joy and meaning in his life. His two daughters were the biggest joy in his life along with his grandsons and best buddies Chase, Quinn, Ethan and Caleb.
Frank worked as a Paramedic, CPR Instructor, OEMS SWAT Paramedic, and was so proud of being Captain of the Springfield Fire Department where he retired from. His true nature was to always go above and beyond and without hesitation; he never asked for anything in return. His passion was seeing his family and friends happy and he touched the lives of everyone he met. He selflessly volunteered his time at church and in the community, the local animal shelter, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Motorcycle Ministry. He was a self taught craftsman and was into all things mechanical; there was nothing he couldn't fix. In his retirement, he loved riding his Harley Davidson and took great pride in restoring his 1974 VW Super Beetle.
Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of his life at Gray Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave, in Cranford on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 between 8:00 - 10:00 AM. Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Michael's Church, 40 Alden Street, in Cranford. Please go to: www.grayfuneralhomes.com to offer condolences.
