Mr. Frank R. Heick age 78 of Cranford passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006 in Union Hospital, Union, NJ.
Mr. Heick was born in Elizabeth on May 3, 1927 to the late Feliz C. and Harriet (Wilson)Heick. He lived in Cranford for 49 years before moving to Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He recently returned to Cranford to live.
He was a self employed Electrical Engineer in Cranford and Elizabeth for many years. He retired in 1995.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Marines.
He was a charter member of the Cranford Volunteer First Aid Squad, member of the Cranford V.F.W. and also a member of the Electrical Contractors Union.
He is survived by his daughters; Christine H. Doktor-Hance, Barbara Coats, Alison Varghese and Meredith Heick. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visiting will be on Thursday, February 16, 2006 from 7-9 pm in the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cranford First Aid Squad would be appreciated.
