Frederick W. Roberts

It is with heartfelt sorrow that Ron Roberts son of Frederick W Roberts announces the passing of his father. The Roberts Family has lost a core piece of their foundation. Frederick W Roberts passed away from Cancer after a long hard fought battle on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. His wife Robin Roberts, son Ron Roberts and granddaughter Samantha Roberts have been by his side throughout his battle, encouraging and supporting him through this trying time. Fred's love for his family will never die and was shown throughout his life with grace and honor. The Roberts family may have a piece of the foundation missing but the strength and support they have together will forever stand.

Frederick W Roberts was born on August 12,1948 in Elizabeth NJ. Fred was a graduate of Cranford High School in 1966. Fred was active as a volunteer fire fighter before becoming a career fire fighter in Cranford on July 1,1975 retiring on June 30 2000 at the rank of Captain. Fred also worked for Cranford Radio and Union Plate Glass while attending Union County College which he graduated with an Associate's Degree in Fire Science. Fred Roberts was a beloved husband, father, grandfather (Pop Pop), friend and mentor. A mark of a man is never what he wanted to do but what he could do for is family, friends and others. Fred not only made his mark as a man of honor but also a man of integrity.
