Genevieve (nee Fucetola) Cugini

Genevieve Cugini (nee Fucetola) 97, passed away on April 11, 2023 of renal failure. She was with her family as she transitioned. She is survived by her loving daughter, Adrienne Feiger, son in law, Michael Feiger and beloved grandchildren, Teddy and Matt Feiger. Her husband, Carmine Cugini, and her siblings, Minnie, Joe and Jimmy predeceased her.
She was born in Boonton and grew up in Newark where she proudly graduated from Barringer High School in 1943. She worked as bookkeeper for Fucetola Brothers for many years before retiring to Old Tappan, NJ. She met her beau, Tony and enjoyed a decade of love and fun times together and with his family before he passed. She moved to Cedar Grove to be closer to her family and grandchildren in Verona. Recently, she moved to Cranford with her family. Her life was filled with faith and friends made along the way in her long life. Vincent United Methodist Church in Nutley was her center of faith where she taught Sunday school and headed up Circle 5. Some of her fondest memories were made with her friends, Pat & Betty who called themselves the golden girls. She had lifelong friends and was equally close to the Cugini and the Fucetola families.
Gen requested a memorial service to celebrate her life with cherished family and friends.
