Genevieve Frances Petroski, 99, of Cranford died Friday February 4, 2011. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday February 8, 2011, at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Wednesday February 9, 2011 in St. Michael Catholic Church, Cranford, with interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Mrs. Petroski along with her late husband Peter, owned and operated Petroski's Delicatessen in Elizabeth, from 1955 until 1971. Preceded in death by her daughter: Frances, she was the beloved mother of four children: Robert Petrosky and his wife Margaret of East Brunswick, George Petroski of Cranford, Elizabeth Petroski of Cranford, Christopher Petroski and his wife Joanne of Winter Haven, FL, 7 grandchildren: Paul, Catherine, Gregory, Jenna, and Shannon Petroski, Cara Carley, and Erica Vitolo, four great grandchildren: Mia, Layne, and Adrian Carley, Tai Vitolo-Ortu, cousin: Edwina Pedalino (Joseph) of Boca Raton, FL, grandnephews: Raymond and Mark Pedalino.
