Gladys Thompson Hendry

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 11 am in the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford for Gladys Thompson Hendry. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hendry, 76 passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at her home in Cranford. She was born in Newark and has lived in Cranford for the last 47 years. She was employed as an executive secretary for Allstate in Murray Hill for many years and then for fifteen years with Heyco Inc. in Kenilworth. She was also affiliated part time with the Cranford Chronicle as a proofreader. She retired in 1996.
Mrs. Hendry was a member of the Eastern Star, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and also a member and Elder of Osceola Presbyterian Church, Clark.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Hendry. She is also survived by her sons; William, Bruce and Brian along with her granddaughters, Melissa and Kristen.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
