Gloria Gibilisco Muscatello

Gloria G. Muscatello Devoted Mother and Grandmother Gloria (Gibilisco) Muscatello, 84, of Scotch Plains, died peacefully at home with her family at her side on Sunday, May 22, 2011 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers Disease. The Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday May 26, 2011 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford (www.grayfuneralhomes.com to send condolences). Funeral services will begin at 10 AM Friday May 27, 2011 in the Cranford Alliance Church, 7 Cherry Street, Cranford. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Born and raised in Bayonne, she lived in Elizabeth, where she raised her family. Mrs. Muscatello resided in Scotch Plains for the past 11 years. After graduating from Bayonne High School, she went on to study at Katherine Gibbs School, and worked for many years as an executive and legal secretary . The Standard Oil Co., Union County College, and the law firm of Lindabury, McCormick, & Estabrook, Westfield were among her employers. A homemaker, Gloria was an excellent cook, and seamstress. She also enjoyed tennis, and playing the piano. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Lillian Gibilisco, her devoted son Mark A. Muscatello, who lived in Fanwood, and her former husband of 28 years, the Honorable Richard P. Muscatello. Surviving are her loving daughters: Donna M. Pagano and her husband Frank C. Pagano of Old Bridge; Lisa A. Brennan and her husband Mickey of Scotch Plains; grandchildren: Brian D. Pagano, Michael Joseph Brennan and his wife Jillian, Matthew Richard Brennan, Julianne Brennan, and many devoted family and friends.
