Helen Car

Helen Car, 93 of Mountainside N.J. died Saturday Sept. 24, 2011 at Overlook Hospital. Visiting hours are Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 from 7-9 pm at Grays Funeral Home, Westfield, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass which will be held on Wednesday Sept. 28, 2011 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Mountainside at 10:00am. Helen lived in Carteret, NJ before moving to Mountainside in 1954. She was a second grade teacher for 25 years in the Mountainside school system prior to her retirement. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R Car and is survived by her children, Dr. Joseph R Car Jr. and his wife Pat, Mary Ann Car Kelly, and two grandchildren, Michael Joseph Kelly, and his wife Cheryl, and Kristin Ann Kelly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mountainside Rescue Squad in her memory.
