Henry Martin Ruszkowski, 82, of Cranford, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 6 at the Robert Wood Johnson Rehabilitation Center following a short illness. Henry was born in Bayonne in 1929 to a family of eight children, moved to Roselle in 1949 and has been a resident of Cranford for the past 27 years. He was employed by Best Foods in Bayonne, NJ for 39 years. Henry served his country for two years as a United States Marine and served in the Korean War. Henry enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren who will always treasure the time he shared with them. He was loved by so many including Charlotte, his wife of 62 years, daughter Lori and her husband Wally of Westfield, son, Michael of Cranford, deceased son Robert and daughter-in-law, Eileen and cherished grandchildren, Susan, Michael, Lisa, Jenna, Kayla, Zackary, Carly Rae, Kobi, deceased granddaughter Blake Madison and great grandsons, Sean and Robbie. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, December 8 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 9 at Saint John the Apostle Church in Clark with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ. Henry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
