Herbert B. Diamond, 83, of Old Bridge, NJ, formerly of Westfield, NJ, died Thursday August 12, 2010. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 PM Tuesday August 17th, 2010 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ. Arragements by Gray Funeral Home, Westfield (www. grayfuneralhomes.com). He is survived by his loving daughter: Debbie Diamond (Jeffrey Macey) of Old Bridge, NJ, two grandchildren: Angelica and Wendy Diamond, an uncle: Irving Rudy of Westfield, NJ, and cousins Patricia Hale of AZ. Jane Auster of CA, two nephews, and a niece. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, and his daughter: ilene. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a veteran of the US Navy, during WW II. He was the chief appliance technician with Auster's Appliance in Westfield, NJ, where he lived for 35 years. Mr. Diamond was a professional dancer, and appeared in movies with Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Fred Astaire among others as a dancer.
