Herbert Angell Williams

Herbert Angell Williams age 96 died on Thursday March 4, 2010 at his residence in Cranford, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Cranford since 1956. Herbert served his country in the United States Army Air Corps, during World War Two. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Elizabeth, NJ. He was a Contract Writer, CLU for the Prudential Insurance company in Newark, South Orange, and Plainfield, NJ for many years retiring in 1977. He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Williams. His sons, Gregg R., and his wife Beverly, and Lawrence R. , and his wife Patricia. His grandchildren, Kim, Trenton, Matthew, and Cheryl. Also a great grandson Cole. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:30 until time of service at 11 am at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, Cranford. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Colonial and Hillside Road, in Elizabeth, NJ.
