Holger A. Froden

A memorial service will be scheduled for Holger A. "Swede" Froden age 72 of Westfield who died on Dec. 9, 2005 at his home in Westfield. Arrangements were completed by the Gray Funeral Home 318 East Broad Street, Westfield.
Mr. Froden was born in Glenn Cove Long Island and has lived in Westfield for the last 41 years.
Mr. Froden graduated from Lehigh University in 1954 with a BS in Industrial Engineering. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He is the President of S3 Incorporated in Westfield a Telecommunication Representation Company. Prior to that he had a distinguished career with Thomas and Betts Company in Raritan.
He was a member of Ashbrook Mens golf association, Walnut Brook Game preservation and a Mason. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and life long NY Giants fan.
Mr. Froden was predeceased by his wife, Christine Walker Froden and his father Holger Samuel Froden. He is survived by his mother, Christine Swenson Froden, his sons Eric and his wife Sarah of Richmond Va., Peter and his wife Trish of Fanwood and his daughter Kirsten of Garwood. He is also survived by his grandsons, Christopher and Matthew and his beloved black labs Bull and Gunnar.
