IRENE KOMINSKY Wife, Mother, Great Grandmother, Grandmother, formerly of Clifton Irene Kominsky, 91, born & raised in Jersey City, NJ, former resident of Clifton, NY and latter of Brick, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 22nd. Visitation is on Sunday, December 26th at the hours of 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Gray's Funeral Home, 318 East Broad Street in Westfield, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 29th at 10:00 AM at St. Helens Church, 1600 Rahway Avenue in Westfield, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ on December 24, 1918. Lived in Jersey City until marrying Joseph Kominsky of Great Meadows, NJ. Moved to Clifton, NJ where she was employed for many years as a executive secretary for Jersey Carpet in Garfield, NJ and then Shulton in Clifton, NJ. Raised a family of three sons and in her latter years retired with her husband to Lions Head South, Brick, NJ. There she was a member of "The Lionettes" and enjoyed her gardens, travels, playing bocce ball & bridge and most of all her family. She was the beloved Wife of the late Joseph Kominsky for 51 years, Mother of Joseph, Nicholas and Philip, Great Grandmother to Logan, Grandmother of Lisa, Abby and Kaitlin and Mother-in -Law to Joan, Leslie, Marsha, Olga, Jeanne and Mary.
