Private graveside services will be held for Irene C. Salkins who passed away On October 8, 2007 at the Atlantic Hospice in Morristown. Arrangements are by the Gray Memorial Funeral Home 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford.
Mrs. Salkins age 93 was born in Kearny New Jersey and resided in Irvington before moving to Kenilworth 51 years ago.
She was employed as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in New Jersey for 30 years. She retired many years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold Mortimer Salkins in 1984.
She is survived by her son, John W. Salkins of Orange, California and her daughter, Linda Salkins of Lakewood, California. She will also be deeply missed by her sister, Alice Hanks of New Haven, Connecticut.
