James Wm. Gahan 74, of Garwood, NJ, passed away at home on Saturday April 4, 2010. Visitation hours will 2-4 and 7-9 on Wed. April 7 at Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford, NJ. Masonic and Church services will be held during the evening hours. A private cremation will be at the discretion of the family. He is survived by his wife of 50 and a half years, Irma Margaret Eischen Gahan, his two sons Kurt William and Kevin James, Steven Williams partner to Kurt, his sister Margaret "Peggy" Teague Gahan and his mother Linnette Teague Gahan. He is preceded in death by his father James M.Gahan. His love of travel supported his career in the glass bottle making industry, developing factories in India, Taiwan, China, and other Asian countries, and later as an international salesman of specialty lubricants and chemicals. He was a member of Atlas Pythagoras Masonic Lodge in Westfield, NJ.
