James A. Holland III died suddenly on October 27, 2015 at the too young age of 53. Jim grew up in Union N.J., and later lived in several places including Morristown, Peapack and, most recently, Belvidiere.
As a youth Jim was very active in Boy Scouts and advanced to the rank of Eagle. Jim graduated from Rutgers University and earned an M.B.A. from Pace University. After graduation he worked as a chemical engineer at U.S Gypsum and Colgate-Palmolive before moving into Real Estate. He enjoyed golfing with his long-time High School friends and sailing.
Jim is predeceased by his father, James; his mother, Julia and his step-father Robert. He is survived by his three sisters; Lisa McArthur and husband Scott, Kristine Gilbert and husband James, and Kathryn Scheffels and wife Donna D'Alessandro; his daughters Emily and Julia.
A private graveside memorial ceremony will be held.
