Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 9:30 am in the Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford for Jean L. Peters. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Mrs. Peters, 82 passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Peggy Coloney's House -Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was born in Elizabeth and grew up in Hillside and resided in Cranford for over 50 years and recently resided at Sunrise Assisted Living in Westfield.
She was employed in the sales Department for MacMillan Bloedel Corrugated in Union for many years before retiring several years ago. Mrs. Peters was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Azure Chapter #87 of Cranford and also a member of the African Violet Society of Union County.
Mrs. Peters was predeceased by her husband Clemens in 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine L. Dixon and her husband James and Deborah J. Dennis and her husband Brian. She will also be deeply missed by her four granddaughters and three great grandchildren.
